Team Page: Dewey Mutebi

Dewey is a pastoral worker, educationist and development worker all-in-one.   The work and service is among children, adolescents and adults.  It continues to shape a positive view of life.

Dewey has experience working in social transformation spaces that  catalyze engaged examination of life enhancing practices leading to quality of life outcomes for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.  Dewey has extensive experience working in social transformation spaces that foster deep, engaged inquiry into life-enhancing practices aimed at improving the quality of life for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Dewey co-designed the Negotiated Periodic Weaning (NPW) methodology, an intentional process where participants agree to intermittently step back from phones, laptops, and virtual social media platforms. This pause creates space for mindfulness, reflection, and meaningful reconnection with self and community.  Guided by a belief in the restorative power of presence, Dewey brings warmth and a steady commitment to exploring how small shifts in consciousness can lead to profound social change.
